At Brooklyn Fishing Club, real anglers are made—on the streets, under bridges, and in the current.
You’ll fish one-on-one with – Taught by Victor Lucia, Founder of BFC
(All lessons are provided by Brooklyn Fishing Club LLC.), and learn the
same spots and tactics our crew has been running for years.
No fluff. No gimmicks. Just raw, hands-on training in the art of urban fishing.
🌆 Where We Fish
Every lesson is built around tide, season, and species. Past sessions have taken place at:
- 🗽 East River – Early/late sessions for Striped Bass & Blackfish.
- 🌉 Brooklyn Piers – Fall runs for Striped Bass.
- 🌊 Breezy Point & Rockaways – Surf for Stripers, Bluefish, Fluke & Sharks.
- 🚤 Coney Island – Bass, Blues, Fluke & Weakfish.
- 🏞️ Prospect Park Lake – Largemouth & Panfish.
- 💧 NYC Reservoirs – Lake Trout, Browns & Smallmouth.
- ❄️ Upstate Lakes – Ice fishing for Trout, Pike & Panfish.
- Half-Day (4 hrs) – $500
- Deposit is 100% refundable if we can’t accommodate your day or time.
- Results vary based on skill, weather, and conditions — no guarantee of catch or specific species.
- A $100 deposit (non-refundable) is due at booking to hold your spot.
- Balance due within 72 hours of your lesson. We’ll email a secure Stripe payment link for payment.
- No-shows or cancellations after balance is paid are non-refundable.
- Weather safety first: if conditions turn unsafe or unforeseen issues arise, we’ll issue a rain check (including same-day if necessary).
- All participants must complete a Liability Waiver before their lesson. The waiver will be sent for electronic signature prior to your lesson.
- A parent or legal guardian must complete and sign the Liability Waiver for any participant under 18. Minors must be accompanied by an adult during all lessons and on all trips.
