Since 2014 the BFC has been dedicated to connecting & serving the urban anglers of NYC. We believe in practicing sustainability, protecting our fisheries and uniting the urban angling community, not only in NYC but worldwide.
WHAT DEFINES US
Thanks to our incredible members, the BFC has become the number one fishing organization in NYC and the most popular fishing club on the East Coast. We’re a community of like-minded individuals hailing from all walks of life, bonding over the love of fishing. Not only do we have members in NYC but all over the world, you don’t have to be from Brooklyn to become a member.
From pros to beginners, we treat each other with respect, learning from each other and having fun while fishing year-round. We give back to our city in many ways; we fund fishing trips for kids from underserved communities, organize beach/park clean-ups, donate to the homeless and more.

If you kill a fish it must be eaten.
Take a picture of your catch or it never happened.
The number of adventures, friendships, and fish caught continues to increase each year. Our members welcome newcomers with open arms and are more than willing to help with any aspect of the sport.
